This morning I'm bringing you our next blog post our Mummy Blog Series this morning! Every week I'll be sharing one of these fabulous Mummy Blogs that so many of you of have got involved in!

Every week one mum will be answering two questions and a few This or That questions sharing some of their stories about motherhood!

This morning is the turn of Sam Davies. 

"Hi my name is Sammy! I'm originally from Australia and have two kids, a gorgeous Boarder Collie and an obsession with my handheld Dyson. Before I was a mum I was a Clinical Nurse Educator and I loved my job. Now I run a Baby & Child First Aid Training company, called Happy Hearts. I am passionate about empowering parents and teaching life saving skills. I share the life saving love on my Instagram account @happyheartsfirstaid so please come and give me a virtual wave!" 

What is your biggest mummy win to date?

My biggest mummy win was when I realised that yes, I am doing a good job as a mum. My kids are (generally) clean, (usually) well-fed and, most importantly, they are happy. Pre kids I worked as a nurse teacher, and my world was all about giving and receiving feedback. Post kids I found myself craving some type of feedback, hassling my husband and sisters for it, but generally receiving blank stares in return. And then I realised. My kids are happy (except when they are having tantrums or toilet training). And this is the single most important feedback I can ever receive. A smile or a giggle is an awesome appraisal. 

What is your 'you know you are a parent when' moment?

You know you are a parent when you feel you have lost a little bit of the old you. Maybe you have lost that little part of you who could watch what they wanted on TV, go to the loo on their own, or didn't really care that Thomas is a really useful engine. Or maybe it's bigger than that. But I can promise you one thing. What you gain from being a parent is bigger than the part you lose. (And while we are on the subject Thomas is actually a bit of a trouble maker.)

Night in or Night out -  Night out... please?! 

Summer or Winter -  Summer 

Beach or City -  Country!
