Isabella and Us. Mummy Blog Series - Kerry-Ann Fox

This morning I'm bringing you our next blog post our Mummy Blog Series this morning! Every week I'll be sharing one of these fabulous Mummy Blogs that so many of you of have got involved in!

Every week one mum will be answering two questions and a few This or That questions sharing some of their stories about motherhood!

So today is the turn of Kerry-Ann Fox. Kerry is a 24 year old Mama to Harper and lives in Bournemouth, with Harper's wonderful daddy Adam and their two, four legged fur babies Louie & Leni. 

Kerry is a blogger over at https://wingingitwithharper.com, and is a stay at home mama meaning trying to blog around a toddler is very tricky. Harper Rey is 21 months old and her whole world. Her life plan never involved children but having Harper was one of the best decisions she ever made because she’s a bit of a legend. A fun fact about Kerry is that she is completely terrified of mice and that includes Mickey and Minnie. She had a run in with them at disney world and people tend to find it hilarious! 

What is your biggest mummy win to date?

My biggest mummy win is probably having Harper sleep through from 7 weeks old. Oh god that sounds so braggy doesn't it? I’m terrible on zero sleep and I genuinely felt like I was on top of the world when she woke up at 6:30 from 11 - instead of waking several million times in the night. I think I even did a happy dance. However, fast forward on to where she is now 21 months, she’s become a pain at bedtime and it’s like my own personal karma haha!

What is your 'you know you are a parent when' moment?

 Mine was when we finally moved out of my mums and into our own flat, I’d been used to having a safety net at all times and with Adam back at work, literally the day after we had moved in. I was left alone, it was my real oh right there’s the pressure to keep this tiny person alive and it’s real. I’m a mum now.

This or That?

Pizza or Chinese? Ooh I’m so picky with food and it drives Adam insane because I can never decide.. I think! It would have to be a Chinese. 

Cinema or a Book?  Book, any day of the week, I used to love going to the cinema as a child but now I’m older i’m a bit more frugal and would rather read a book and wait till the film comes out on Dvd.

Night in or Night out? Night in always! I gave up drinking almost two years ago and much prefer a night in with a cuppa than a night out with a headache the next day. I’m a 84 year old woman in a 24 year olds body I think.

 Summer or Winter? This year summer but I think thats only due to how long winter lasted this year I just want to be warm. My favourite is autumn I love Halloween and all the spooky vibes.

Beach or City? Neither, I hate being in the sand even though we live in Bournemouth we rarely hit the beach up and I really struggle with big crowds so being in big cities tends to make my anxiety really bad. I’m more of a country side girl.
