What motivates you?

What motivates you?

What is it you truly want?

What motivates you to reach it?

Is it something you want more of or something you want less of?

Reaching your goals requires motivation internally, from deep within us. If your motivation comes from something external it is less powerful and you are less likely to reach it. Whereas, having an intrinsic motivation is extremely powerful, as change needs to happen in an unconscious level in order for it to be long lasting.

So when you think about what you want, is it moving towards something better or moving away from something you don’t desire?

If you focus on what you don’t want you will only get more of what you don’t want and so the motivation and focus simply isn’t there for you to reach for goal. Your head brain is hardwired to focus and look for what you set it to look for.

So if you are focusing on the things you don’t want, you are only going to find more of it. If you set your head brain to focus on what you want then you will be actively looking for this in all aspects of your life.

So now when you think about what you want, what is it you are moving towards?

What is it that you want more of?

What does that give you?

Start to really dig deep into what it is you want and why.

If you really reconnect with who you are, where you want to go and what you want in a way which comes from listening to your intuition and is authentic this will make the journey to reaching your goal flow easily.

Use the following journal prompts to help you dig deep to really discover what you want and why:
