What in the world is going on?! Anyone else still feel like pinching yourself and hoping it's a bad dream?

So we're all stuck at home right? But wait, we have one permitted exercise session a day! This is an absolute God send. If you can leave the kids with a partner for an hour, you can have 60 glorious minutes to yourself! We all know we shouldn't go that far, but if you utilise the streets, fields or paths around your home you can easily fill the time without having to get too close to anyone. 


My first run after being inside for a week was amazing. Really appreciating the freedom, the time to myself, the bees buzzing round the blossom and the quiet. Even on my London streets, there's a distinct absence of noise. It's rather refreshing. 


Even if you can't get out every day, try and find some time across your week to get out in the fresh air. And if not to run, to walk. Even Mums that stay at home with their kids (like me), don't usually have to "parent" for such long stretches without a break. You need some time by yourself now and again. And don't feel guilty about it either.

We may be in this situation for a while, so try and go easy on yourself Mama.
