Isabella and Us. Mummy Blog Series - Lauren
/This morning I am bringing you another blog for our Mummy Blog Series! Every week one mum will be answering two questions and a few This or That questions sharing some of their stories about motherhood!
Today it is the turn of the lovely Lauren.
Lauren is 28 and has just become a first time momma to her 10 day old bear cub.
A fun fact...gosh I'm not very fun! I love love love long walks in the countryside with my partner, pups and now son!
What is your biggest mummy win to date?
Well, I have only been a mommy for 11 days...my little boy arrived a cheeky 4 weeks early on 15.5.18 My biggest parenting win...I'm not sure I feel qualified to answer this just yet but I will give it a go.
My son spent 6 days on the neonatal unit before we were allowed to bring him home to start our life as a family. Now, 100% he did all the hard work and he made me proudest momma on this earth.
My win? I grew him, I brought him into the world, I stayed with him every single day until we could leave the hospital together and now..my boy is home, eating well, sleeping well and generally a super happy little baby boy! Does that count as a win? It sure feels like one to me!
What is your 'you know you are a parent when' moment.
Easy, you know you're a parent when you could sit and stare at your little miracle for hours on end with not a single distraction.
You know you're a parent when you look at your bubba and your heart physically hurts...I mean it hurts!!!
You know you're a parent when you pop to the shop and take a bag with 6 bottles in...just in case haha!
I could go on and on with this question...
Ultimately..you know you're a parent when your whole world changes in the blink of an eye and yet you feel like your life has never been any different!!
This or That?
Pizza or Chinese - Toughie. Neither!
Cinema or a Book - Cinema
Night in or Night out - Night In...100%
Summer or Winter - Summer
Beach or City - Beach
Thank you so much for sharing Lauren!
I am absolutely loved reading your answers and I hope both you and baby are doing well!
