Each of these molecules we breathe in influence nearly every single organ in our body ~ they affect our heart rate, digestion, even our moods and so much more of our entire system.
Our breath is a gateway into our automatic nervous system, which is essential to our wellbeing.
And our breath can help us move to a more resourceful state and help us feel calm and relaxed, especially when we feel stressed.
This is why I love using breathing exercises, because by focusing on our breath we can bring ourselves in to the present moment, ground ourselves and give ourselves the gift of calmness and relaxation.
